Terms & Conditions

  1. The survey is conducted on behalf of Veg Power and the promoter for the prize draw is: Veg Power CIC
  2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 16 years or under who are parents or carers of children attending schools in the London Borough of Lambeth which are registered to participate in the Eat Them to Defeat Them 2023 campaign except employees of Veg Power, ITV and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the campaign, the organisation or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. Entries only accepted via completion of the Eat Them to Defeat Them survey of parents and their children, no postal, email or social media entry accepted.
  5. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. 
  6. Closing date for entry will be 23:59 3rd April 2023 or until the maximum number of 150 entries has been achieved at which point the promotion will end . After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  8. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  9. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  10. All valid and complete surveys up to the 150 limit which have opted so to do will be awarded a grocery shopping voucher worth £10, which will be emailed to the email address provided by the participant no later than 30th June 2023. These entries will also be entered into the prize draw.
  11. The prize draw is for a £250 grocery shopping voucher. The winner will be selected at random from those survey entries.
  12. In addition all valid and complete surveys up to the 150 limit which have opted so to do will be awarded a payment of £10 to their school (limited to schools in Lambeth who have registered to participate in Eat Them to Defeat Them 2023). Schools will be notified by email no later than 30th June 2023. Awards will be paid by BACS payment on receipt of a valid invoice, such invoice to be sent to Veg Power no later than 30th September 2023.
  13. All awards and prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  14. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the survey, awards and prize competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. By entering this promotion, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  16. The promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  17. The winners agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  18. The winners’ name will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address: hello@vegpower.org.uk
  19. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with,  ITV, Channel 4, Sky, Lambeth Council  or any other partners or supporters of the Eat Them to Defeat Them campaign. You are providing your information to Veg Power CIC and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at vegpower.org.uk.
  20. Veg Power shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
  21. Veg Power also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
